Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
The severe pain that you are getting in Left kidney can be due to presence of stone either in Left Kidney or Ureter and needs to be investigated ,
Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Renal Function tests.
In the mean while start taking Antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin and Nitrofurantoin twice daily along with anti spasmodic Spasmo Proxyvon twice daily .
Ensure to drink more water to keep your urine dilute .
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis as regards size ,site of the stone and back pressure changes in the kidney due to stone.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .

You have Left Upper Ureteric stone .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up and update .
Ultrasound Scanning has revealed presence of stone in left upper ureter with back pressure changes in kidney (Hydronephrosis).
In management of stone disease primary aim is to prevent kidney from being damaged due to back pressure changes .
The stone of a size of 7 mm can be expected to pass out through urine spontaneously .However it is very difficult to predict the time it will take to pass out
However if the pain is very severe and intolerable and associated with repeated attacks of pain and vomiting it is advisable to decompress the kidney by putting a stent in left ureter so that urine flows down from kidney in to bladder .It helps to prevent kidney from being damaged and the stone automatically moves down as ureter gets dilated due to stent .
Discuss the situation with your Urologist and explore the need for putting a stent and decide about future course of action .
Thanks and Regards.
