Brief Answer:
Sciatica

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you are having pain in your buttock. This type of pain is probably sciatica. There is a muscle in your buttocks called the piriformis that has the sciatic nerve piercing it. If this muscle starts spasming then you get severe butt pain and it can radiate down into the leg. During the day that muscle spasms is lessening helping reduce your overall pain. I would recommend seeing a massage therapist and see if they can help reduce that pain and give you some exercises to stretch out the piriformis muscle

I hope this answers your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
