Brief Answer:
Trauma , Periodontal pocket.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXX

This is Dr. Priyanka tiwari answering your query.

have gone through your query, there is nothing to worry this cut in gum can be due to trauma from toothbrush ( hard bristles) or due to food lodgement in gums , pocket formation can be there .

For this you can Apply Anaesthetic ointment like Mucopain, or Dologel on painful area of gum and can take painkiller like Kertorol Dt or Diclomol by consulting with your local doctor .

In meantime you can do XXXXXXX warm saline gargle two - three times a day and can take tablet Vitamin C supplements .

Hope this helps you.

Hope I have answered your query.

If you have further query I will be happy to help.
