What Causes Severe Pressure Around The Eyes And Nose?

Diagnosis: Ocular hypertension.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Increased intraocular pressure with no signs of vision problems and nerve damage is called ocular hypertension. Individuals with ocular hypertension are at increased risk to develop glaucoma in the future and have to be followed by regularly by the ophthalmologist.
Ocular hypertension does not always require treatment depending on your eye pressure and the progression of the condition. However, if you notice worsening pain, pressure, develop vision problems, start seeing halos you will need a re-evaluation of the eye and likely be started on medications to lower eye pressure.
Since you are complaining of pain and pressure, I recommend following up with your Ophthalmologist to evaluate the eye pressure, vision and need for medication.
Hope this answers your question.
