Question: I was diagnosed with sciatica I am on my 3day of steroids and the pain is still bad is this normal.they gave
Me pain meds also which I have taken 3 times should I go back to er I don't have a primary dr

I am so sorry to hear about this diagnosis of sciatica and all the pains you are experiencing. If the pain intensity hasn't decreased, then the doctors need to review your pain management and adapt it to control your pains.If it has however decreased, then exercise some patience as the pain fall would be progressive and not instantaneous. Please, watch out for any decrease in muscle power. If you experience any weakness, that is a danger sign and warrants immediate return to the hospital for further investigation and immediate action.
