Brief Answer:
Abdominal pain associated with azithromycin/palpation

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Abdominal pain is a common adverse effect associated with azithromycin. Generalized body aches and myalgia can also occur. Unless the palpation was done deep and it was painful while your doctor was palpating the abdomen, it's unlikely to be related to the physical exam. The antibiotics course should be completed. Acetaminophen or paracetamol is available OTC can be taken for the pain. Most likely it will subside.

Hope I have answered your query.
