Question: My wife is 61, diabetic and is having severe stomach pains with nausea and feels very light headed and cold.

Hello. Thanks for putting your query in hcm.I appreciate your concerns regarding your wife. Severe pain in diabetic with feeliing of cold may be due to gallbladder, billiary tract and urinary tract. So I will suggest you to take her to a doctor and get blood tests complete haemogram, liver function tests, urine examination and ultrasound abdomen. See whether her sugar level is controlled or not. If it is not then good sugar control is also required. Meanwhile for pain relief I will suggest you to give her tablet drotavarine. I hope I have answered your query and this will help you.
