What Causes Severe Sweating In Scalp And Occasional Severe Rashes On Stomach?

Question: I am experiencing Severe scalpsweats at lease once a day. I am 73. Years old. My urine has an acidic smell, and my energy level is very low. My body "odor" has also an acidic change. I have occasional severe rash on my tummy fold that my doctor gave me a crime to treat. It helps, but the rash returns intermittently.
The scalp sweating is severe. It saturates my hair, the sweat drips down. I am taking 125 mg of Levoxyl daily and 100mg of Sertraline. My symptoms have increased in severity these last six months. I have recurrent papillary carcinoma. My original surgery was 7 years ago.
I am concerned that I may have a systemic yeast infection. ( I have fungus on my toenail also).
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
add Triptomer
Detailed Answer:
Hi SVM
Welcome to healthcare magic.
The scalp sweats happen in some patients and is really difficult to control and very embarrassing.
You can continue your current treatment. Some patients response very well to low dose amitryptiline (Tryptomer). You can add this after prescription from your local clinician.
About acidic odour you can get some medicated dusting powder.
Also get your urine checked for any infection.
I hope the advise will be helpful for you.

Are you saying that I have systemic yeast infection/candida? Is scalp sweating one of the symptoms. Or is it due to something else.
Could the sweating be hormonal? It is a symptom that bothers me a lot. Please be more detailed in your answer.
I never run fevers, my normal body temp is 97.
I am having surgery in two weeks to remove cancer tumors. Is it safe to have. Surgery with thi symptom?

Brief Answer:
some assessment and evaluation required
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back.
Sweating is not a feature of candida infection.
Sweating is due to overstimulation of sudorific glands which can be due to imbalance of autonomous nervous system.
This can happen as a disorder by itself or may be due to other disease conditions.
You should get evaluated by a local physician regarding any additional findings and treatment.
In my view amitryptiline can help you by setting the disturbance right.
The malignancy surgery is a landmark health decision and should not be deterred.
Get preanesthetic check for safety and let your doctor decide.
I hope the advise will be helpful for you.
