What Causes Severe Thirst While On Force Factor Supplements?

Question: Over the last few days I have started becoming constantly thirsty. To go along with this, I have been waking up in the middle of the night over the last few weeks. I am taking Force Factor a pill that helps with memory retention and focus and I have heard rumors of insomnia being a side effect of that pill. I have no other symptoms to go along with this as I have not lost any weight, no fatigue, and haven't been going to the restroom more than usual. What would be a reason behind this recent surge of thirst? I mean the thirst is pretty constant.
Brief Answer:
Force factor is the main cause, see below
Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
I understand your concern. .
Force factor you are taking contains large amounts of arginine. The excessive level of arginine is associated with frequent urination as you are currently reporting.
Increased urination is causing fluids loss from your body which is leading to being thirsty.
If I was your caring doctor would advise to :
- stop using force factor
- increase fluids intake
- eat healthy
- keep physically active
- measure your blood sugar levels (fasting, 2 hours after eating, HBA1C )
- run an urine analysis
Hope this will resolve your current problems.
