Question: Last night I took Miralax for constabation and then later on I drank Tonic Water and got a gas bubble or whatever stuck painfully - bafely able to breathe - - then I started to throw up bowls& bowls of dark brown fluid(?). Not blackish but brown and it didn't taste like bowels. I did eat falfels earlier in the evening but it was odd and intense.

Brief Answer:
Your are for sure recovering. Continue with eating and drinking!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this vomiting that you reported. I have reviewed your symptoms fully and the progression of your ill health and feel comforted that you are on the right track to full recovery. Feeling weak and not being able to eat much after repeated vomiting is not uncommon. As long as you continue to recover, I will say there is no immediate reason to get worried. For now, I recommend you continue to eat as much as possible and drink much fluids. This way, you would be able to compensate for all the fluid losses that you suffered yesterday.

Because this vomiting started after consuming Miralax, it is unlikely that this is related to the falafel you ate or food poisoning.

In all, you are on the path of recovery and there is no need to get too worried at this time. Eat and drink as much as possible and compensate for the losses of yesterday. Eating healthy, much fruits, vegetables, fibers and regular exercise are the best ways to combat longstanding constipation.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
