What Causes Severe Vomiting Followed By Nausea And Heartburn?

Question: I have been nauseated for the past 3 hours. I had loose stool about an hour ago and vomited 20 minutes ago. The vomit had 2 oblong, brown, smooth looking, sort of capsule shaped things in it. I haven't eaten anything in 13 hours so I don't believe it could be food. Is this something I should be concerned about? Am I vomiting feces? Is it blood? I still feel nauseous after vomiting. I had mild heartburn all day. I was drinking alcohol last night so I attributed all my ailments to that but am very concerned about the brown things in my vomit.

Dear Ms
The vomitus is definitely not faecal matter. It is like to be due to alcohol induced Gastritis which could explain all your symptoms.
I would suggest you the following
1. Liquid antacid will be helpful
2. Antiemetic like Domperidone along with acid suppressant like Pantoprozole will be helpful
3. A glass of fresh lemon juice with honey added will help you tide over hangover
4. Ensure adequate intake of water, fresh fruit juice and soft diet
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Thank you for the fast response. Any idea what the brown pellets could be? Also if I hadn't mentioned alcohol intake from 24 hours ago what would you have thought? I felt okay all day with no nausea up until about 3 hours ago. Really want to know what the brown things could be.
Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to bleeding from ulcer
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms
The brown thing is likely to be due to small bleeding due to small ulceration of stomach. It is self limiting and will subside with medications. Even if you would not have mentioned alcohol, the opinion would have still been Gastritis.
Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy life

Thank you again. I have much peace of mind now. The medications I have at home with me are ranitidine and liquid pepto. Can I take the liquid pepto with a ranitidine tablet? Will the ulcers just go away with time/bland diet? Should I continue to take pepto/ranitidine for a few days?
you have been very helpful and I am very appreciative.
