What Causes Sharp And Stabbing Pain On Back Left Side Of Head?

My reply is below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms. Any new onset headache should be investigated. It is possible that the headache could be due to muscle tension in the occipital region (back of head). However, we need to exclude any internal problems in the brain such as lack of blood flow or clotting, or a small bleed.
As of now, you can take symptomatic treatment such as diclofenac tablets for pain relief. However, if the headache persists, you should get a brain scan done.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,
