Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through. Based on the history you have shared, these symptoms can't be ignored. To start with I would suggest you to have eyes examination by a fundoscopy to look for any signs of increase in pressures in your central nervous system which can be seen most conveniently by this non invasive and easy examination. Also intraoccular pressures should be looked for to rule of glaucoma. If both of these are normal, Xray Paranasal sinuses should be done to rule out sinusitis which may also present like this. So these common diseases should be ruled out before proceeding to other neurological testing and workup.
Neck stiffness with neurological signs like drowsiness and headaches and and pain behind the eyes may not be taken lightly and if symptoms are this persistant you need to have a detailed neurologist opinion to discuss for any need of lumbar puncture or brain imaging. But mentioning all these doesn't mean that you necessarily have any of these but for reassurance, it needs to be ruled out in the setting of these symptoms. If these are all normal, discussing with a psychiatrist for disturbed sleep and increased thirst can be done, to rule out anxiety neurosis. Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
