What Causes Sharp Pain In Head With Persistent Breathlessness And Anxiety?

Question: Hey I'm 19 and afraid I have brain cancer or a brain tumor or something. a little over a month ago I was having problems waking up out of my sleep gasping for air, some breathing problems (not being able to breath in all the way) and I think some anxiety problems. like it felt like I had a vision issue and I felt like I was in a dream and that nothing I was looking at was real. those issues have gotten better and now I'm having bad headaches. yesterday I woke up with a sharp pain on the right side of my head. and for the rest of the day I've been having dull pains in my head in different places. I also get pain on the back of my neck on the base of my head. today I woke up with not a lot of pain in my head and right now I have just a dull headache on the top of my head. I went to my dr a couple weeks ago and got a blood test done and he said everything was fine except my cholestorol and vitamin d. I'm still worried that it's something serious. I'm 19 btw. any help is appreciated

Brief Answer:
Brain tumor very unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Migrating head pain is not a common symptom of brain tumor, it is more a feature of anxiety and stress disorder.

Over the counter pain medication such Paracetamol should help improve the pain, besides stress and anxiety control.

About shortness of breath and vision issues also could be explained by panic attack.

However, exists a very small possibility that vision issues and strange sensations could be related to seizures.

So, you should be evaluated by a Neurologist about these concerns.

These symptoms are not related to vitamin D disbalance or cholesterol levels, but these abnormalities should be corrected.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
