Question: I'm a 43 years old man and back in 2010 i had my gallbladder removed. Now , from time to time i get a sharp pain in my abdomen towards the right side kind of that it clearly feels that its someghing inside. If feels only when I move or twist my torse. I don't get any other symptoms and i feel healthy other than that. Could this be related to my surgery for the gallbladder removal ? What else could it be ?

Brief Answer:
May be Costochondritis / Confirmation on clinical evaluation / Tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your concerns.
Feeling of something inside with sharp pains in the right side of the abdomen, 'only when you move or twist the torso needs to be investigated.
You had gall bladder removed in 2010, more than 4 years. If you have developed this problem recently, it may not be related.

I would suggest you the following:
Physical examination and clinical evaluation by a General Surgeon. This is important as some signs such as tenderness over the costochondral area, feeling of a lump and such things can be diagnosed only by an actual examination that no there tests can show. He can then advise you the proper investigations and treatment. Preliminary ultrasonography / CT scan is a good idea to rule out certain diseases.

The possible causes can be Costochondritis as you have sharp pains on moving / twisting the torso
There is a rare possibility of some lump related to the liver , large bowel in this area; we do get surprises many times in out field.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis, and get a proper further treatment. Please feel free to ask for more or if you need further clarifications if you feel there is a gap of communication.
