What Causes Sharp Pain In The Chest While Swallowing?

Question: I have discomfort in my upper chest when swallowing solid food. No problem swaollowing
water or soft food like ice cream

No vomiting. It is a sharp pain when I swallow. After two or three bites the pain lessons somewhat. No loss of appetite.
I have no heartburn pain and no reflux
problem. There is this sensation of a blockage with a sharp but not sustained
pain.

I recommend you to get a Upper GI endoscopy to ascertain the same. This is easily treated if diagnosed early.
