What Causes Sharp Pain In The Head?

no to all the above questions. the headaches are sharp pains ..... then subside and return an hour or so later and just started in the last few hours.

Symptoms appear to be suggestive of 'primary headache syndrome'. Sometimes 'Tension type headache' may present like that and a trial of 'Amitriptyline' may be helpful. Anxiety may play it's role as well. So, along with a 'Clonazepam' trial is also desirable (these are prescription drugs, so you may need a prescription from your local physician).
Further, some kind of primary headache syndromes like 'SUNCT/SUNA' and 'Primary stabbing headache' may present with sharp pains.
If Amitriptyline trial does not help, a neurologist's in person opinion with a detailed history taking, will help.
