What Causes Sharp Pain In The Right Flank Area?

Question: I went to the ER Tuesday evening. I have had severe sharp pains in my right flank since Sunday when I woke up. I was sure it was kidney stones like I had a few years ago. After they did the cat scan XXXXXXX tho they didn't see any stones they said they may have already passed to the bladder and I would pass them within a few days. My pain was so bad they gave me morphine in my IV and checked my urine for infection but there was no infection. They said I also could of pulled my flank mussel all tho I didn't injure myself that I'm aware of. They sent me home with pain pills. Its Saturday. I'm still having breath taking sharp pains, can barely walk so have been in bed.I can't XXXXXXX roll over without getting those sharp pains. How long will this last? What can I do to lessen the pain? Could it be something else?
