Brief Answer:
Can be tendonitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The sharp pain can be due to a muscle cramp or tendonitis. You need to avoid painful activities and take a mild pain killer to reduce any inflammation. Using a brace and a hot compress will also help.
