Only started noticing sharp pain in left knee for a little over a week now.
i have had some knee issues in this particular knee in the past. it was diagnosed as an overuse injury. Patella Femoral Syndrome , Runners knee i guess.
Starting on the Prednisone late December.
Was diagnosed with COP Cryptogenic Organizing Pneumonitis. so that is why i was put on the prednisone to reduce inflammation.

Brief Answer:
This pain is not due to steroids
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Predinsone intake just for few months can not cause knee pain. I can assure you about that. I will advise you to get MRI of the knee joint to see if there is any cartilage or meniscus injury. If yes than you can get it treated through key hole surgery.
Till that time I would suggest you to:
1.Take Tablet Dicerin 100 mg per day for three months.
2. Tablet Etoricoxib 90 mg per day.
3. Hot water fomentation.
4. Avoid squatting and cross leg sitting.
I hope these steps will help you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
I will try my best to help you.
Thanks.
