Question : I have a sharp pain starting in the lower right side of my brain/ and shooting up to top of head on the
right side. It lasts just a few seconds.. No blurring of vision except for the time the pain is there.
What causes it and what can I do to treat it? thank you >> CRO

Probably trigerminal neuralgia!

Hi,
This is often caused by trigerminal nerve affection. Treatment is often with anticonvulsant medications such as Carbamazepine. I'll suggest that you discuss this with your doctor for a script. If medications fail, then surgery would be considered.
