Brief Answer:
Jaw muscles contractions and spasms.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

It happens to me too, when I drink cheap wine.

It is a result of tannins, contained in fruits and in wine.

Tannins cause salivary glands to secrete rapidly, these glands ( parotid glands) can induce jaw muscles sudden contractions and spasms giving the feeling of sharp pain.

There's nothing to worry about, except the discomfort.

Periodic use of vitamin C helps improve this condition.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
