What Causes Shiny Red Bumps On Tip Of Penis?

Question: I have two small shiny red bumps on the rim of my penis. They are only red when I am erect. When flaccid they are not even there. I noticed this two weeks ago and I was tested for HSV and was negative for both. Doctor said they are due to friction. Should I continue to worry?

Brief Answer:
Fordyce spots- no active intervention required
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have reviewed all the images very closely.
From keen review, my opinion is that these are not suggestive any pathology and are nothing but fordyce spots.
Fordyce spots are modified sebaceous glands which secrete oily substance called sebum. These glands can get enlarged sometimes and becomes visible as fordyce spots.
As these glands are part of normal anatomy of body, there is no need for any concern.
Hope you got my point.
Thanks
