What Causes Shivering In Hands And Legs After Taking Clamp Kid Forte?

Question: Hi ! I gave my 9 year old daughter a dose of around 10ml of Clamp kid forte. after about an hour, her hands and legs started shivering. Is this an overdose effect.

If shivering gets worse or if she experiences other symptoms like stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, hyperactivity, drowsiness etc then you will need to take her to emergency room. You have given the medicine in excess. The dose should have been 2.5 to 4 ml at a time depending on the severity of the infection. The more the dose the higher the shivering. You need to give all medicines to your kid under medical supervision. Self-medication to kids is not advised. Hope it helps. D Vaishalee
