Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms do not seem to be related to coronary artery disease.
A nerve damage related to the lumpectomy could be the cause of this type of pain.
A musculo-skeletal pain could also cause this clinical scenario. Is the pain triggered by deep breathing or body movement? This would be another argument in favor of musculoskeletal pain.
Anyway, for the moment there is no reason to go to the ER. I would recommend trying ibuprofen for the pain.
If the pain is not relieved by ibuprofen, I recommend performing some tests:
- a chest X ray study
- complete blood count, ESR, PCR for inflammation
- a nerve conduction study.
Hope to have been helpful!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
