What Causes Short Menstrual Cycle, Weakness And Drowsiness?
Am a mother of two, and both were C-sections. My elder child is 7 years & my younger one is 2 years old. My periods used to be quite regular, and the cycle used to be 25-26 days. For the last 2-3 months, I am having periods in around 22-23 days. As such, I do not have any other complaints, everything is normal. But, I am suffering from weakness for some days now. I am a working mom, and have a very tight schedule all thru the day. This weakness is hitting me every now and then, and I start feeling sleepy during the office hours. Please advise, if this is because of the shorter periods cycle, or any deficiency.
Thanks so much
Mainly due to overwork and weakness.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The slightly shorter length of periods that you are having is a normal variation. This is not likely to cause the intermittent weakness that you are feeling.
The cause of your weakness can be overwork, anxiety, stress, recent viral infection and an improper diet.
You need to increase your fluid and fresh juicy fruits intake. You also need to add a multivitamin and multimineral supplement to your routine like Absolute woman Or Revital woman.
Do add a calcium and Vitamin D3 supplement also. Take rest. Do take a break from your work at frequent intervals. Have green leafy vegetables and a protein rich diet. This will help in replenishing your lost energy in next few weeks.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
