Brief Answer:
Hi XXXX, As you have correctly said, Beta blockers can exacerbate

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, As you have correctly said, Beta blockers can exacerbate or bring on an attack of asthma. But normally with eye drops, the absorption should be very low. Do you have wheezing and other signs or only shortness of breath?
Shortness of breath may be due to a touch of gastritis too. So if you feel the symptoms are significant and accompanied by wheezing, consult your eye doctor to consider if the medication can be changed. Regards
