What Causes Shortness Of Breath, Nausea And Migraine?

Question: Hello, I have been having shortness of breath, nausea, feeling of food being stuck in my chest and mild migraines. Symptoms are more severe at night and early morning. Symptoms have been ongoing for 5 days now and started after taking a generic walgreens version of Nyquil.
I belch frequently and tend to get dizzy from time to time. I ran these symptoms by a cardiologist and he believes it might be Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). I am not in severe pain but mild discomfort especially when trying to sleep. I am not overweight in any way and would like to know what kind of at home remedies that I can try to make the symptoms go away?

Brief Answer:
Acid reflux disease..
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. Your symptoms seems to be related with acid reflux.
2. To my opinion you should do:
- upper endoscopy to better evaluate acid reflux and gastric mucosa
3. meantime I would suggest to :
- avoid coffee, chocolate
- avoid spicy and fatty foods
- eat often and small amount of meal
- eat 3-4hours before going to bed
- use two pillows when you later down
- quit smoking and alcohol use
- avoid soft drinks
If your symptoms doesn't get improved that you need to use antacids like gaviscon and PPI'S like prilosec OTC.
Hope it was helpful to you.
