What Causes Shortness Of Breath, Numb Arms And Bloating In Abdomen?
Question: shortness of breath, numbness in both arms, bloated abdoman, light headedness over all a crappy feeling. Aorta valve put in Oct 07 at VA west Los Angeles. Am I OK or should I get to my ER in Palm Desert Calif? YYYY@YYYY

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. They are very non specific and may be suggestive of a flu. In most instances, the symptoms resolve all by themselves and there is no need for specialized medical attention. This normally happens within a week. If your symptoms have lasted more than a week or you think they are rather getting worse, them you may need to get examined. If not, I will suggest that you exercise some patience as well as take Tylenol. Eat healthy, drink enough fluids, consume much vegetables and fruits and exercise regularly. These would all be of added advantage to you. For now, there is nothing alarming that warrants the use of the ER.
