Question: I have had some issues with feeling like I am out of breathe off and on for about 2 months. It feels a lot better right after seeing a chiropracter, but then hours later my chest will feel tight again. Just yesterday I increased my exercise pace just a little and my chest burned really bad, I started coughing, and since then have phlegm in my chest.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In your case, we need to rule out bronchitis first.
Because your symptoms like cough, breathlessness on exertion with mucus since 2 months are seen in bronchitis.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system.
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT is needed for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
It will also tell you about severity of the disease.
And treatment of bronchitis is based on severity only.
So get done PFT.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and antihistamines drugs.
