Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
I carefully passed through your question and would explain that your blood pressure values are really high.
From the other hand your symptoms (shortness of breath) could be related to heart failure or other possible metabolic disorders (like chronic anemia, an electrolyte imbalance, etc.).
There is no OTC drug which can lower your blood pressure in these ranges. From the other hand there is no natural relief to your symptoms.
From the other hand it is important determine the possible cause of your symptoms, in order to make the best treatment choices.
For this reason, I would recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:
- a resting ECG and a cardiac ultrasound to examine your cardiac function and structure
- a chest X ray study
- some blood lab tests (complete blood count, blood electrolytes, fasting glucose, kidney and liver function tests, PCR, sedimentation rate).
I think your situation is serious and you need to consult as soon as possible with a doctor. ER seems to be a good choice in this regard.
Hope to have been helpful!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
