Question: Over the past week and a half I've noticed that I've had increasing fatigue and body aches. I feel so tired like I could take a nap at any moment of the day - HIGHLY unusual for me. My arms and legs will ache randomly - but it's very mild and not severe. Also, I've noticed that when climbing the stairs my legs feel very heavy. I have had mild shortness of breath with daily activities and i've been more irritable lately. I have hypothyroidism and IBS-D, both are controlled with medication. I also have autoimmune ITP, but haven't needed treatment for it yet. I recently had a CBC w/diff and thyroid blood work done a little over 4 weeks ago - everything was normal. What's going on? Could this be leukemia? Even though I had a CBC w/diff done 4 weeks ago that was normal?
Brief Answer:
It's unlikely to be Leukemia

Dear Ms
Presence of normal complete blood count and differential count from peripheral smear almost rules out any hematological cause including leukemia as reason of your symptoms.
As you are only 26 years and very young it's quite unlike that you could be suffering from any serious ailment. As you are experiencing shortness of breath and other exercise related intolerance, I would suggest you to get Electrocardiogram done to rule out any heart condition in light of associated Hypothyroidism.
I would suggest you the following which will definitely help
1 consume plenty of oral fluids: 2 to 3 liter of water per day
2. High fiber diet
3. Adequate rest: Sleep if you are feeling sleepy. It will re-energize you . The sleep pattern will normalize. It's always advisable to listen to signals of the body. If it depends rest let it be rested. Stress and anxiety could be contributing factors in your symptoms
4. High fiber diet
5 avoid caffeinated beverages
In case you require any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
