What Causes Shoulder Blade Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Arm?

cervical slipped disc or heart-related problem
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting the question.
From the medical history that you have stated,it seems that either you have a slipped intervertebral disc in neck region causing compression of the corresponding spinal nerve or you may have a heart related angina pain.
Although a cervical disc seems to be more likely, you should consult a physician and get a Electrocardiogram done and blood pressure checked.
If these are normal, then you can be sure that the diagnosis is slipped disc.
A MRI of neck can confirm this.
Physiotherapy, cervical traction, laser therapy are known to cause beneficial effects .Very rarely,in unresponsive cases,a decompression surgery may be needed if relief is not achieved by conservative means.
Anti-inflammatory analgesics like ibuprofen.tramadol with pregabalin, methylcobalamin tablets will help reduce the inflammation.
Apply local analgesic gels and do hot fomentation of the painful areas.
Using a cervical collar during the day time will avoid any further compression of the nerve.
Avoid using pillow or lifting anything heavy.
Do let me know the MRI report once it is ready.
I hope the answer was useful.
Feel free to get back to me for any follow up queries.
Thank you.
Wish you a speedy recovery.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Its not necessary that any injury is needed to get a cervical disc.
It can be a degenerative disc disease due to age factor, use of pillow, old trauma or minor incidents like lifting a bucket full of water etc.
Thank you.
