Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

Having sideways movement of your fingers while hand is resting or typing are considered as involuntary movements. You can record a video of the sideways movement of your fingers and send to me at the following e-mail address:

YYYY@YYYY

with subject line: "Attention to Dr.Albana Sejdini"

In this way, I will analyze myself the involuntary movements of your fingers and guide you further.

Meanwhile, I can say based on the symptoms you are describing and your age, my thoughts go for possible Parkinsonian's disease (early stage). That's why a careful physical examination and neurologist's opinion is highly recommended.

Furthermore, hormonal changes (especially of thyroid gland) can also be another cause. Measuring the level of thyroid hormones (TSH, T3, T4) and ultrasound examination of thyroid are also advised.

Arthritis is also another cause to be ruled out through physical examination and X-ray of the hands joints.

Other causes might include deficiencies in vitamins and minerals; biochemistry tests are necessary to rule them out.

Looking forward to have the requested data in!

Brief Answer:
Parkinson's disease;should exclude other causes...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,

Thank you for providing the requested video.

From what I have seen, the involuntary sideways movement of your fingers while resting is typical for early stage of Parkinson's disease (which is common among patients at your age). I'd like to know if you are also having:
- noticed to do things slower than usual?
- difficulties with your speech recently?
- any other symptom: difficulty in swallowing?

I suggest to get evaluated by a neurologist in order to run a thorough neurological examination to determine the right diagnosis and decide specific treatment. The earlier the treatment, the better the outcome.

I also insist to run thyroid function test to exclude thyroid problems.

Once again, that is not serious or to be concerned, but need medical attention to prevent the aggravation of symptoms that could interfere with quality of life.

Hope it was of help! Let me know if you have further queries!
