Question: I have very bad sinsis cant breath

I have been using nose spray, for about 40 years please don't ask me to quite using I cant I have like a sore on one side of my nose

1. You are likely to have developed Rhinitis Medicamentosa if you have been using nasal sprays for over 4 decades.

2. The difficulty in breathing is usually due to nasal turbinate hypertrophy.

3. A nasal steroid spray, saline nasal washes, an anti-histamine with an anti-leukotriene, steam inhalation and tapering off the nasal spray may help. Nasal turbinate reduction can be done if the medical treatment does not show results in two weeks of continuous use.

4. Any associated sinusitis will have to be confirmed by a plain Sinus CT Scan.
