What Causes Skin Allergy After Having Jaggery?
Question: I HAD SKIN ALLERGY ON TAKING FOOD PREPARED WITH JAGGERY . EVEN IN THE TONGUE
WHAT IS THE REASON
WHAT IS THE REASON
Brief Answer:
Maybe iron causing trouble
Detailed Answer:
I think I can tell you why you have the problem.
The fact is that jaggery or gud (as known in north India) is an iron rich product.
It is produced in iron containers and therefore gets rich in iron.
We in fact allow it in people of anemia- as a food item that a person can have in anemia.
The point is that iron causes lots of gastric irritations and is a potential source of allergy. So when you are having jaggery, the chances are high that the iron content in the food is bothering you.
Best would be to avoid the food.
It is very few lucky people who can identify the source of allegy
Best of luck

Brief Answer:
answers to specific question
Detailed Answer:
the best thing to do is avoid the allergen. As long as you are avoiding the allergen, there is no possibility of getting an adverse effect.
However I should mention that if you are allergic to one thing, you are also allergic to something else, even if not yet manifested. So be careful in general.
Taking green leafy vegetables in small portions may not hurt. They have other chemicals that make sure iron is well absorbed without causing problems.
(i think question 2 and 3 are similar).
Best of luck

Brief Answer:
No Need
Detailed Answer:
Just avoid the iron containing foods
Rest you can relax.
You can have most of the foods easily and as before.
If you want to be more careful, try the test
Phadia Top- Food
This will give you a list of foods that you are allergic too.
However I dont recommend it
Its too general a test
Best of luck
