Skin tags Or Acrochordons, usually appear at sites like Neck, Axilla. Skin tags are more common in overweight people.
They are absolutely benign in nature and are only of cosmetic concern.
Removal is the only treatment. Skin tags are usually removed with either a Laser e.g Co 2 Laser Or with a Radiofrequency cautery machine under Local Anesthesia.

It is not possible to completely prevent the development of new skin tags, although weight loss in those who are overweight may be helpful in this regard.
They may reappear slowly over a period of months or years. The new ones which may reappear also need to be similarly removed.
