What Causes Skipped Heart Beats?
Can wait first,if no improvement, consult doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
First, you are saying to have already done all cardiac examinations which have always been normal. That is great. Cardiac issues are excluded.
Now, apart heart problems, there are other causes to skipped heart beats:
- alcohol/cigarette use
- drugs you might be using
- too much caffeine
- being stressed/anxious
- too much physical activity
Avoiding these factors can help not having PVC as long as there is no heart issue.
Now, I need to know:
- when was your last visit to your doctor?
- what type of medications you are using (your doctor prescribed)?
I advise to do your best to ignore it. If you cannot succeed, and symptoms will get worse, then, can schedule an appointment with your doctor.
I usually advise my patients to keep busy during the day, thus, you won't think over PVC all day long.
Hope it answered to your queries! Let me know if anything unclear!

If cardiac tests are normal, try to ignore that...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,
Once again, if all the cardiac tests resulted normal, then, I advise to try to ignore that and to try to avoid quick movements that could trigger skipped heart beat.
For example, when you try to go to bed, do it slowly and try to do something else (keep your mind busy, and not think over the heart beats). At the beginning, it will be difficult, but, by passing of time, you'll get use of it.
Once again, this strategy is only if you have done all the cardiac tests and they resulted normal and your cardiologist has not concluded a pathological diagnosis.
All the best!
