What Causes Slight Bleeding After Intercourse?

Question: I am 35yrs old had a XXXXXXX omentectomy and both the ovaries removed 1month back as i was diagnosed by endometrial adenocarcenoma but at a very early stage.my gynecologist confirmed after 3 weeks of surgery that i have recovered very well and even i had no issues except little bit of vaginal bleeding to which he said its normal and should go with time.he also said i can continue my sex life after 1month..my concern is I experienced some bleeding that is not severe after having sex and that was not pale as before it was red...i am unable to contact my doctor as i am out of town is it safe to have sex in this little bleeding condition??
Brief Answer:
avoid any sexual activity
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX I understand your worry.
Avoid having sex if you are having reddish instead of the pale old altered blood.
Take tablet tranexemic acid 500 mg thrice a day for two days.
Most probably it will subside by itself and is not serious but it can't be said conclusively without examination.
So as we say prevention is always better than cure, avoid having sex till you visit your gynecologist.
All the best.
