What Causes Slight Pain In Chest When A Slight Hiatal Hernia Is Diagnosed?

Question: I have slight pain in my chest for a few months now. I got a CT angio done + pulmonary scan & my calcium score was 0. No anomalies were seen except a slight haital hernia... Could my heart have any issues?
Brief Answer:
The likelihood of heart disease is almost zero .
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir/Madam
I understand your query and concern.
The possibility of heart disease is extremely unlikely at this moment.
Zero Calcium score and Normal Angiogram are strong negative predictors for heart disease.
Hiatal hernia even mild can cause mild chest pain in almost all cases.
6 monthly periodical follow up is advised for Hiatal hernia in your case at the moment.
Post your further queries if any,
Thank you.

Even though the CT scan shows a slight hiatal hernia, right now I don't have too much of acid reflux. Currently I am on a dosage of pan40 & lesuride 25mg every night before dinner.
The pain in my chest is mild but gets worse if I am squeezing my chest with my arms & physical activity. Sometimes I feel my heart rate escalate & a flutter here n there ... What could be causing this?

Brief Answer:
Upper GI endoscopy to be performed at the earliest.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I understand your concern.
Haital hernia can be best assessed by Upper GI endoscopy and Barium swallow rather than CT scan.
So I advise you to get Upper GI endoscopy and Barium swallow to assess the real time pathological severity and grade and also assess the need for surgical management.
Meanwhile continue with your present medication and in severe cases use Tab.Tramadol twice daily till the pain subsides.
But the need for the said investigations is very high.
