What Causes Slight Variation In The Size Of The Collar Bone With No Pain?

default
Posted on Thu, 12 Jun 2014
Question: One week ago today I noticed that my right collarbone ( right medial clavicle) is larger than the left. I am so concerned that this is sinister and am terrified to go to my doctor as I've just had a very close relative died & I just can't face dealing with more bad news. There is no pain. It's not noticeable by others but I can feel the difference. I don't think it's a lymph node but maybe it is but it more like the bone itself. I have been prodding it for a full week which probably isn't a good idea. I just need some peace of mind if possible as I am terrified ....Please help me. I'm really anxious about it.
