You asked about seizures and the answer is no, he was not unconscious when he fell but hit the back of his head very hard. He was on b/p Meds a yr ago but when it stayed he quit taking it. Has not taken his b/p so we don't know if it has been elevated. He can use his l hand somewhat writing is terrible. And he has trouble controlling his silverware. He is l handed. He is very frustrated because he is having so much trouble. Thank you

Could this be MS or ALS? I am beside myself worrying. It seem like some type of stroke to me. Can you give me mor information?

Brief Answer:
Possibly stroke.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.

Acute onset hemiparesis along with hypertension, appears to be a clinical setting for stroke.MS or ALS are unlikely.

Your son should get a MRI Brain done as MRI is more sensitive than CT for stroke.
Further, proper management of Hypertension is must.
If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to answer else please close the thread, rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.
