What Causes Small Bumps On Forearm With History Of Scabies Infection?
Needs management
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Scabies can be resilient some times and may show up again. I personally give combination therapy of permethrin and ivermectin and antihistamines for itching like hydroxyzine or atarax.
Repeat the permethrin after week and take ivermectin 3 or 6 mg and repeat after one week.
All household members and close personal contacts older than 2 months and not pregnant should be treated for scabies, even if they have no symptoms or signs of infestation. (Remember Pets do not require treatment.)
launder clothing, bed linens, and towels used within the last week in hot water (60°C or higher) and machine dry them or sun dry them and repeat after every dosage.
Keep the nails trimmed to avoid any scratch induced trauma or secondary infection. Rest assured scabies is manageable and easily treatable and a person can go back to work or school with in 72 hours.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
