Posted on Wed, 8 Oct 2014
Question: Hello my question is in regards to small bumps on a penis after unprotected sex. I'm not sure exactly when they developed but i noticed them about 2 weeks ago. I have no pain at all just not sure what to make of them. There is only 4 of them and they appear to be skin toned. Could this come from friction of unprotected sex? Thanks for any help that you may provide.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
From your description, it seems you might have got Herpes progenitalis, a viral sexually transmitted infection but its difficult to point anything specific in absence of clinical examination. Therefore for better understanding, I request you to post good clinical photographs.
You can mail pictures to YYYY@YYYY with the subject titled 'Attn : Dr Hardik Pitroda'.
Once I will review the pictures, I will revert with the management plan for you.
Thanks
