Question: Hello Doctor, I have got a small hard bump on my right hand point finger. It is around the first joint of the finger (below the nail). It'been around 1.5 - 2 months now since I observed this. It would'nt bother me as such, but when I put pressure on it while doing household jobs, it slightly pains. Just wanted to check if I can do anything about it. Thank you.

Brief Answer: please upload a picture of the same Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX Could you please upload a picture of the same? You have a feature for the same on the right side of this query page. Please utilize it. Going by your description, it seems like a benign lesion. Perhaps, a fibroma or benign cyst. If it is causing you trouble, it can be excised surgically without any problem. Hope this helps you.
