What Causes Small Rashes On Cheeks, Hands And Fever In A Child?
Question: Hello, My 3 year old grandson is visiting from MD and has several small rashy spots (cheeks, hands, chest) and a fever of 102.
Brief Answer:
Please upload an image.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Children can get rashes with fever due to a number of viral infections. Most rashes have definite characteristics and I would strongly insist you to upload an image of the same. That will enable me to comment definitively about what it could be due to.
As of now, give tylenol to bring down the temperature. You may apply calamine lotion or some emollient over the rashes.
I will await your response.
