I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same .
From the description that you have provided , it seems very likely that you had developed some frictional tears over the penile region.
Since the lesions were self limiting which means that they scabbed and healed on their own, so the possibility of a std is almost negligible . There is however a small possibility of it being a minor superficial infection which can be bacterial or fungal.
Since you had disturbed the scabs, it lead to freshening of the wound again and thereby prolonged healing.
I would advise you to try and maintain proper hygiene of the area in the form of cleaning the area twice with lukewarm saline water. You can apply some topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the affected areas twice a day in case the lesions tend to persist or re develop.
But I am not concerned about any std in your case since most of the std s need proper and definite treatment.
