What Causes Small Sac Filled With Fluid Near Anus?
Question: I have a small sac filled with fluid near my anus. It has some fluid filled in it. It's small peanut sized. It doesn't hurt at all when I walk and sit. But yes I can feel it it's there. It feels it's under the skin. Will it go away on it's own ?
Brief Answer:
hematoma, medicines only
Detailed Answer:
hello,
your painless fluidy sac-like swelling is most likely a 'perianal hematoma'. its just a small blood velles rupture under the skin at anal margin.
I would suggest sit in a tub of warm water for 10min thrice daily and apply Hirudoid cream. it should get absorbed in 1-2 weeks time. You can click a photo of the sac and upload it here so that I can have a look.
take care.

just to add it has no coloration. it's white and pale. on touching it, there is no pain and it's not hard. its soft and just feels like a tiny sac filled with some fluid.

as suggested I have started taking the salt bath with Epsom salt in mild warm water for 20 mins. Will be doing it thrice daily. I have attached a picture as requested.
Brief Answer:
hematoma.
Detailed Answer:
hi, thats a good pic. you have external hematoma at the anus and as suggested the cream & sitting in warm water (no need to add any salt as it may cause skin reactions or burns)
If it becomes hard, or grows in size, pain starts or it ruptures to give bleeding then you need urgent surgery. we do BUSH which u can see on youtube in my name dr XXXXXXX gore.
take care. wish you good health as 80% people get alright with medicines only

I really hope it doesn't come to surgery etc. I have ordered the hirudoid cream and I shall receive it by Tuesday. till then I'm just doing the warm water tub bath without the Epsom salt as suggested. I would like to stress the point as to how non painful it is hoping that it's not very serious an critical. At times I even forget I have it. I would also like to ask if it is ok. to workout or play sports having this ?
Brief Answer:
chill. no sports
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
chill dear. As long as you don't have problem keep doing the treatment as advised. I would not suggest sports or workouts till its fully gone else the need for surgery due to complications would increase.
take care
