Hi,
There are different reasons for snoring. Some medical problems some because of less space for the air to move in and out.
Obesity, sedentary life are very common amongst today youth a prime reason for snoring. With more fat deposited in the facial tissues the muscles surrounding the oral cavity, pharyn and neck have less space to move when heavy amount of air is moving into and out of the lungs. When there is less space and small pipe the tissues flutter and create sound.
If you are overweight and no physical activity you should try be more active.

Regular physical activity
If overweight, cut down the weight by 10% of current weight, the snoring reduces.
Do not eat full stomach at night, the diaphragm might push up.
Sleep to one side.
If you have sleep problems get them corrected by seeking expert consult. You should get fresh every day from the bed in the morning.
Yoga would certainly work, but not the only solution.
