Brief Answer:
For how long has this been?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about the sore roof of your mouth that you have reported. This in most cases is caused by a virus in a scenario of upper respiratory tract infection. I will like to know for how long this has been and whether you have any other symptoms such as fever, running nostrils, cough, etc. For now, mouth rinse solution and tylenol for pain control would suffice unless something else comes up.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

Brief Answer:
Salt water is okay as well!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Salt water is okay. This is just to make sure no germs find themselves into the blood system. Preferably, I often go with listerine mouth rinse solutions.

I wish you well and let me know if all is well.

I would think listerine would burn ? How about baking soda mix with water? Also would Halls help? Like cough drops

Answered by Dr. Ivo Ditah (5 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Any antiseptic mouth rinse is okay!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Listerine would not really burn. That will be a transient discomfort. However, any certified mouth wash solution is good enough. I Will not accept cough drops as there is no indication for that at this time.

I wish you well.
